Established in 1979, the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR) provides legal continuing education and public policy advocacy for attorneys and disability representatives.
NOSSCR’s mission is as follows:
To encourage “the highest quality representation and advocacy on behalf of persons seeking SSDI and SSI benefits.”
Members of NOSSCR represent both Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) claimants. NOSSCR holds conferences across the country and provides legal resources for those who practice disability law. They also offer a free referral program for claimants looking for private attorneys in their area.
