Judge Amos is a solid, well-seasoned, very talented adjudicator. He is very "time sensitive" and will be ready to go before your scheduled Hearing time. Do NOT be late! If you are early, he will swear in the claimant and let the rep do the questioning. Doesn't like to use VE's but does now. He knows the record well and will not allow the Hearing to go off on tangents. Stick to the main limitations and he will be happy. If he has time, may tell a story. He's very interesting and pleasant. Just be on time and know the record!

The best ALJ in St Petersburg. He is very well prepared, knows your client's file from front to back, and does not waste time. You must be prepared and not waste time, either. He is thorough and fair.

There is no more efficient, affable, thorough, or knowledgeable ALJ than Judge B. T. Amos. He has earned respect as a result of his caring, but no nonsense manner.

He is very efficient and treat you with the upmost respect. He doesn't waste time with unnecessary information. I felt relaxed during my hearing. He is thorough and fair.
